Terms of Service
Effective June 17, 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using WarpX ("the Interface"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Interface. The Interface is provided by WarpX and operated in connection with Canton Network infrastructure and, where applicable, EVM chains such as Base.
2. What WarpX provides
WarpX is a non-custodial interface for atomic cross-chain and same-chain swaps involving Bitcoin-backed tokens (including WBTC and CBTC) and Canton Coin (CC) on Canton Network. Swaps are settled using hashlocked contracts and transfer instructions on Canton, and HTLC-style locks on supported EVM chains. WarpX does not take custody of your assets. You interact directly with smart contracts, transfer factories, and your own wallet or hosted Canton party.
3. Wallets and Canton parties
You are solely responsible for securing your Loop wallet, EVM wallet, passkeys, recovery methods, and Canton party credentials. WarpX cannot recover lost keys, rejected transactions, or funds sent to incorrect party IDs or addresses. Canton party IDs must be complete and valid (they contain "::"). Network fees on Canton are paid in Canton Coin.
4. Swap mechanics and risk
Cross-chain swaps depend on timelocks, solvers, validators, and third-party infrastructure. A swap may fail, stall, or require a refund path if counterparty legs are not completed in time. Same-chain Canton swaps (C2C) may use pending transfer offers that require acceptance within the order window. You acknowledge smart-contract, bridge, oracle, and network risks, including chain reorganizations, validator downtime, and software bugs.
5. Beta software
The Interface may be labeled Beta or otherwise under active development. Features, limits, supported assets, and routes may change without notice. Use at your own risk and only with amounts you can afford to lose.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use the Interface for money laundering, sanctions evasion, market manipulation, unauthorized access, or any activity prohibited by applicable law. We may restrict access where required by law or to protect the service.
7. No advice
Nothing on the Interface constitutes investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Token prices and availability are not guaranteed. You are responsible for your own compliance with local regulations.
8. Third-party services
The Interface integrates with Loop wallet, Canton Network validators, token registries, BitSafe/CBTC infrastructure, EVM RPC providers, and block explorers. WarpX is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or actions outside our control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WarpX and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of funds arising from your use of the Interface, wallet errors, user mistake, or third-party failures. The Interface is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
